Salute to everyone.Today I searched the web a little bit to find some pages that can help us with English literature not just English grammar and English speaking skills.I think it´s very important to read as much English literature as possible, especially if we are studying English language and literature. After all literature is an important part of every language and every person that studies languages should pay attention to the literature of that language.
You are all probably familiar with Sparknotes SparkNotes was originally part of a website called The Spark, is a company started by Harvard students Sam Yagan, Max Krohn,Chris Coyne, and Eli Bolotin in 1999 that originally provided study guides for literature, poetry, history, film, and philosophy. Later, SparkNotes expanded to provide study guides for a number of other subjects, including math, health, physics, biology, chemistry, economics and sociology. SparkNotes does not charge users, but instead uses advertising for revenue.Personally SparkNotes is my favorite web page for english literature I visit it orderly and everytime I find what i´m looking for on SparkNotes.

3.THE LITERATURE NETWORK
The literature network offers searchable online literature for the student, educator, or enthusiast. To find the work you're looking for start by looking through the author index. The literature network has currently over 3500 full books and over 4400 short stories and poems by over 260 authors. Their quotations database has over 8500 quotes, and their quiz system features over 340 quizzes. As I´ve written above you can also find short stories and some poems on this page which can be very useful because most pages don´t have the analysis of short stories and poems so this is a huge benefit for this page.
Game of Thrones/ A song of Ice and Fire
Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created for HBO by show runners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, the first of which is titled A Game of Thrones.
The series, set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos at the end of a decade-long summer, interweaves several plot lines with a broad ensemble cast. The first narrative arc follows a civil war among several noble houses for the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms; the second covers the attempts of the exiled last scion of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty to reclaim the throne; the third chronicles the rising threat of the impending winter and the legendary creatures and fierce peoples of the North.
As you can see I like to read books and watch shows, and most of all I like that two combined together. So the great thing about this show is that is based on a book "A Song of Ice and Fire". By comparing TV shows with books, searching for the meaning you actually use your brain for something useful, but try to think in English!

Divergent is a 2014 American romantic science fiction action film directed by Neil Burger, based on the novel of the same name by Veronica Roth. The film is the first installment in The Divergent Series and was produced by Lucy Fisher. It stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James as main characters. The story takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic version of Chicago where people are divided into distinct factions based on human virtues. Beatrice Prior is warned that she is Divergent and thus will never fit into any one of the factions and soon learns that a sinister plot is brewing in her seemingly perfect society.
Since it has three books on wich movie was based you can as well read the books and also watch the movie so you can compare it, and also have fun ( and expand your vocabulary since it's science fiction and has a lot of unknown, new words ) .
But heads up, books are always much better than movies!
Arrow is an American television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. It is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, a costumed crime-fighter created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp.
The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, who, five years after being stranded on a hostile island, returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrow. Unlike in the comic books, Queen does not go by the alias "Green Arrow".
The series takes a realistic look at the Green Arrow character, as well as other characters from the DC Comics universe. Arrow focuses on the humanity of Oliver Queen, and how he was changed by time spent shipwrecked on an island. Most episodes have flashback scenes to the five years in which Oliver was missing.
The most effective way to learn English is by waching TV shows, I know from my personal experience, and the Arrow is my favourite show, for now, because I constantly work on my improvement, I watch a lot of shows, tomorrow I may get a new favourite show.
Download Popcorn, search in section TV series for Arrow, turn on English subtitle and enjoy yourself!
Wuthering Heights is Emilly Bronte's only novel.
Wuthering Heights is the name of the Yorkshire farmhouse where the story unfolds. The book's core theme is the destructive effect of jealousy and vengefulness both on the jealous or vengeful individuals and on their communities.
Reading books is one of the best ways to improve your english language and also to introduce yourself english culture and to know all the things that mattered to the author of the book. One of my favourite books is this one, because it is controversial, and interesting, and full of tension, it just keeps you reading.
It is very interesting to me how Hareton Ernshaw changes his character through the book, and it is also enchanting to watch how Catherine changes him.
(http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/wuthering/) This is SparkNotes link where you can find all interesting things about the book, but I kindly suggest you to read it in order to improve your english!
